The Rainbow Montessori Nursery School is a Nursery School in Winscombe, North Somerset, which follows the Montessori ethos. We offer high quality care in a secure environment and make keeping children safe our priority. We also follow the Early Years Foundation Stage statutory Framework.
The nursery has a warm and friendly atmosphere and the highly qualified staff are caring and dedicated to giving children the best possible start. We pride ourselves on our natural, holistic approach that treats every child as an individual. We follow the interests of the child which builds on their strengths, enabling them to become strong individuals with high self-esteem. The carefully prepared Montessori environment compliments the 3 prime areas and 4 specific areas of learning for our 2 year olds and 3-5-year olds, with dedicated rooms that are beautifully prepared to inspire, interest and challenge the individual children.
The children can work either inside or outside within their environment, as the outside compliments the inside with a wide range of activities - we value outside learning and always make it a priority to offer it to our children as we know and understand it's importance. We also regularly explore our local countryside and regularly visit the local environment to compliment the learning that we offer.
Our provide a choice of hot lunches or packed lunches each day and also a breakfast club option for parents needing an earlier start. We also offer a toddler group and work closely with parents to ensure we are constantly are meeting the family’s needs.
