We are so pleased to welcome David Jewell and his wife, Fi , to our chapel as our new minister.
Here is a little bio about him.
'I have been blessed to have been brought up in a loving Christian family. I gave my life to Jesus aged 11 and was baptised at 16. I met Fi aged 21 and we married a couple of years later, moving from London to Wrington in North Somerset with our two children a few years later. We owned and ran a Newsagents for over 20 years there and were very involved in youth and children's work in the village, both being on the Eldership at the URC Chapel. I felt a call to ministry in 2007 and in 2008 began a degree in theology at Bristol Baptist College. Since graduating, I have been Pastor at Mustard Seed church in Cornwall and Bearfield church in Wiltshire. I enjoy walking, reading, visiting gardens and National Trust properties and having people round for meals. It is very exciting to be involved at Nailsea URC, Wrington URC and Winscombe Chapel. '
